Antioxidants

Antioxidants are substances made in the body and present in food, which protect against free radical activity and lipid peroxidation.
Free radicals enter the body from eating fried food, smoking, drinking alcohol, pollution, stress, sunlight.
The greater the oxidation damage to the DNA, the shorter the lifespan.
It is important to eat a wide variety of foods containing antioxidants and to take a supplement daily.
Some well-known antioxidants are Vitamins A, C, E, Selenium, Zinc, Lutein, Lycopene, Glutathione, Beta Carotene, Astaxanthin, Alpha Lipoic acid, Co Q 10.
